Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) Calculator

What is Blood Alcohol Content?

The safest thing to do if you drink is not to drive afterward. If you should ever end up drinking and driving, however, it is imperative to know your limits.

The amount of alcohol that is present in an individual’s blood is referred to as one’s blood alcohol content (BAC). If a person has a BAC level of 0.08% or higher, he or she is considered intoxicated based on California law. If a person’s BAC level is slightly lower than the 0.08% minimum, he or she may still be considered under the influence of alcohol if signs of specific mental or physical behaviors are evident.

How to Determine Your BAC Level

Everyone absorbs and metabolizes alcohol at various rates, so estimating an individual’s BAC is difficult. However, several BAC calculators can help determine an approximate level of your BAC.
